Darlings!

Anyone else out there who can’t get over the fact that it is March already? What happened? Did I blink and miss the last two months?

Just as well that I can bring you exciting news, perfectly in time for Easter: the Bridal Masterclass is making another appearance, this time at the spectacular Nether Winchendon House, Bucks on Sunday, 21st April 2013 | 2pm to 5pm.

Some of you meanwhile know what’s behind the idea of the Bridal Masterclass but just to recap quickly: this is NOT an anonymous ‘sales-y’ show where we’ll try to talk you into buying any of our products or services – you will have had enough of those already. Instead, this is your chance to spend some time with some of the most reputable names in the industry, people who are genuinely interested in your wedding stories and would love to pass their hard earned expertise on to you.

We invite you to spend an afternoon with us, glass of fizz in one hand, truffle popcorn in the other, whilst we show you some useful tricks of the trade on how to plan and live your wedding day without a single frazzled nerve in sight.

Wondering about how to tie a bustle? How to pin on a buttonhole? How to get the most out of your wedding photography? How to keep your lipgloss sticking to your lips, not your teeth? What to put into your emergency kit for your wedding day?

All of these and so many more questions will be answered in mini-demos by some of the wedding industry’s finest. And, of course, my orange hammer will make an appearance again… To find out why, you’ll just have to come join us.

But why take my word for it – here’s what some of our brides thought of the last two Bridal Masterclasses:

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for organising Sunday. It was lovely to meet you, and we had an absolutely brilliant time – it really was a breath of fresh air. Wedding planning has been, up to this point, pretty stressful and glum and this is the first time I have started to feel excited about everything! It was even worth being stuck in a ridiculous amount of traffic on the way home – especially as I had some lovely macaroons to munch on!

Firstly, just wanted to say thank you for a fun evening yesterday! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and in a world where eyes start glaze over during wedding talk it was nice to be amongst people who were genuinely interested! I should also add that your vanillekipferl and lemon keks were delicious!!

If you like what you hear, come join us! We’re keeping this one smaller in numbers as we don’t want to lose the intimate and interactive feel of the event so book your space early.

As always, it is our ethos not to charge entry to the Bridal Masterclasses. This is our treat to you. What we would ask you though is to RSVP and, out of fairness (and for a dose of good karma), to let us know if your plans change and you can’t make it. Spaces are limited and, as there’ll most likely be a waiting list again, that way we can at least release your space to the next ‘bride in line’.

As for the line-up of fantastic wedding experts, I’ve decided to keep the suspense up for a little while longer and to announce ‘Team Nether Winchendon House Bridal Masterclass’ one by one. Oh what a tease!

You’ll just have to keep checking in over the next week then, won’t you…

Wheelbarrow loads of love and Happy Easter-Egg-Hunting!
