The wedding season has been in full swing for us, as you may have noticed from the absence of all things new on this site. Yikes! But if you know us, you know that our brides & grooms always come first, so our passion for waffling simply had to take a backseat for a little while.

We’re back now though, and with a vengeance!

And to celebrate our first summer blog entry, we’d like to start with something very special and introduce you to one of our favourite publications:

“Save the Date Magazine” is the brainchild of Lydia & Abbi, who sort of “fell” into the world of weddings when Lydia got engaged and soon despaired at the lack of local wedding publications that were truly inspiring, snazzy and unique. Sounds familiar? That’s the way a lot of stories, including bride&glory’s, start out. Hopefully though with more and more of us kindred spirits emerging, we’ll blow the cobwebs out of the wedding industry in no time.

The hard copy of Save the Date is published on a bi-monthly basis and, if you prefer to hold something “proper” in your hands, you can subscribe on the save the date website and the gloriously glossy little magazine will land on your doorstep – it’s magic!

The lovely Lydia & Abbi

If you’re like us though, always impatient and with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, then the newly launched Save the Date “e-zine” might just be perfect for you. You can browse the entire magazine online, at no cost, and all at the drop of a hat. What more could you possibly need?

We think that Save the Date is so much more than a wedding magazine though. With their website, Lydia & Abbi have created a  fabulously stylish and interactive platform where you can find inspiration, news, trends, wedding suppliers, advice and support.

We like to think of Save the Date as the “Boutique” version of some of the larger publications. Mini but mighty and leaving you feeling looked after and pampered rather than one in a million.

Much as we’d like you to stay with us, switch sites and have a look for yourself:

We dare you not to love Save the Date as much as we do!

Until next time, be fabulous!

Anna
