Happy first official Spring Monday!

Today, we’d like to talk to you about capturing your wedding day on camera.

We’re not going to be terribly patronising by telling you just how important it is to chose the right photographer – you’re all clued up enough to know that, usually, you only get one shot at getting it right on the day.

Which photographer is right for you is a very personal matter and one person’s idea of a dream can be another’s idea of a perfect nightmare. Apart from finding that person you trust and feel perfectly comfortable with, there is of course a checklist no bride & groom should be without  – and needless to say, it is one of the many many lists we have compiled already, so you don’t have to. Just get in touch and we’ll happily share our wisdom with you.

And, whilst we’re talking all things photography, we simply had to tell you about a fabulous photographer we recently came across:

Julia Boggio Photography & Film is successfully run by Julia Boggio, who is universally considered to be one of the top wedding photographers in the UK. Having her husband James Derbyshire on board means they can offer you the complete package – James is master of “all things moving imagery” and creates wedding documentary films that are still unique in style throughout the UK.

As you know, at bride&glory we are tirelessly hunting for those special touches, elements and services, and with Julia and James, we feel like having struck gold. Julia’s style is heavily influenced by film and her portfolio is simply inspirational.

There are a lot of fantastic wedding photographers out there but finding them isn’t always the easiest of tasks. If you are currently drowning in the depths of the web, bored to tears by looking at yet another oh so desperately staged “natural & spontaneous” shot – don’t despair!

Head immediately over to

We promise, you will not be disappointed. Isn’t it just glorious to discover a whole new way of capturing your day?

Until next time, be fabulous!

Anna
